The following is another useful resource book on writing; it deals with the writing process with straightforward explanations and illustrations and assignments.

In this section, we cover the essay structure along with the writing process. All the writing steps are repeated briefly as the focus falls on the essay format. More practice than theory is resorted to along the way. In fact, we go across the pre-writing, drafting, as well the revising/editing processes in a smooth practical way with many class works and a series of assignments.

The next types of essay for the second semester encompass the following :
Cause Effect Essay This type deals with causes as well as direct results of events : while causes answer the question“why did the event happen ?”, effects react to the question “what happened because of the event ?” On the one hand, causes happen before events and contribute to them. On the other, follow events as outcomes.
Process Analysis this essay helps writers describe how to perform something or how something occurs. Ferthermore, writers divide processes into major stages, and they explain them cautiously so as to inform or else persuade their audiences.
