It is the particular situation in which an expression is put into use. This involves the particular time, place, participants, topic, events, intonation, arrangement of objects...etc.

Expressions of quantity

Are expressions that refer either to countable or uncountable nouns.

This type of planning necessitates the use of the present continuous as it covers arrangements in the future.

The going to form is used to refer to already arranged plans or decisions for the future.

It is the change in the voice pattern while speaking conveying variuos meanings; questions, statements, and exclamations.

Are forms of proposing something to someone politely. They usually take the form of a question.

A tense used to express occurences happening now or round now; it can also be used to indicate future plans.

Requests

Are polite expressions to make a demand for something. They usually end with please.

Simple present

Tense used to express daily routines as weel as facts which are always true or true for a long time.


Speaking
