This test aims to evaluate the student's kevel of mastery of the specefic objectives of this course, notably the ability to plan, organize and produce an academic essay.
This test aims to evaluate the students' pre-acquired knowledge and skills pertinent to the content and objectives of this course which include knowledge of the stucture of the paragraph-- the topic sentence, supporting details, concluding sentence--as well as the common types of paragraphs.
The basic writing stages, or the writing process, involve:
- Pre-writing
- Drafting
- Revising
- Editing
- Publishing
The importance of coherence (logical organization of ideas) and cohesion (unity) in constructing a piece of writing
a list of words and phrases to be used to connect ideas and statements.
