Students will explore potential research interests and learn how to transform broad topics into focused and manageable research questions through a guided brainstorming and refinement workshop.

By the end of the lecture, students will be able to formulate a focused research topic and potential research questions based on their initial academic interests and an understanding of the dissertation process.
