• By the end of the module, the learners will be able to identify the different parts of the English sentence (including: sentence grammar, punctuation and style), recognize their function (in reading); and write well-formed sentences.

Specific objective(s)

1. To identify and complete sentences by choosing between words of parts of speech.

2. to use different types of phrases.

3. To use clauses and their functions in sentences and produce other clauses.

4. To revise sentence fragments and run-on sentences and to correct punctuation and mechanics of writing in the senetnce.

5. to write well-formed sentences in different contexts.
