Course Overview

The Computer Science course is of significant importance as it provides the student with the essential digital knowledge required for research and the preparation of documents and presentations. It ensures the proper use of digital technologies in academic research and the effective management of digital resources. The module also develops students’ practical skills in writing and formatting texts and reports, inserting references and footnotes, creating tables and charts, transforming data into clear visual formats, and designing interactive digital presentations. In addition, the module introduces students to the use of academic email and cloud storage services, enabling them to carry out collaborative work and securely share files. Students are also introduced to modern artificial intelligence tools and their applications in research and academic writing, which enhance creativity, speed up task completion, and increase productivity. Further, this course fosters students’ academic and professional attitudes, such as organization, accuracy, creativity, respect for research ethics, and serious handling of digital information.
