  • Analyse a sample research proposal for potential ethical concerns
  • Distinguish between appropriate aand inappropriate uses of student work as research data

Practical Application

  • Design a simple informed consent form suitable for language classroom research
  • Apply ethical principles to develop strategies for maintaining student anonymity in research

Critical Reflection

  • Reflect on ethical tensions between research objectives and student wellbeing
