By the end of this Unit, students will be able to:

- Identify at least two common types of bias that can affect evaluation outcomes

- Analyse a sample assessment for potential sources of bias and suggest improvements
- Distinguish between formative and summative assessments, highlighting ethical considerations for each
Practical Application
- Propose two strategies to promote equity and inclusivity in language assessment design
- Apply ethical grading practices by developing clear and transparent feedback for a sample student response
Critical Reflection- Reflect on how cultural and contextual factors may influence assessment decisions in their own teaching practice
