Konstant (2003 :18) asserts that readers may get different levels of meaning from the text, and each level entails a different type of reading. It could be literal, implied, or inferred.
Literal meaning:
The literal meaning refers to the exact meaning of the text. « It mainly consists of facts, figures, dates, and names. » This type of data is constant, it cannot be changed or reinterpreted.
Implied meaning:
This type of information is not stated clearly, it is reading between the lines.
Inferred meaning:
In the evaluative meaning the reader has to analyze and read beyond the lines.
