The third year written expression program focuses on enabling learners of mastering the skills required to write different types of essays. It is composed of different objectives, starting with how to write the structure, types of introductions, the thesis statement, etc. By the end of the first semester, the student is expected to write an exploratory essay. By the end of the second semester, the student must have mastered the exemplification, cause and effect, and descriptive essays.
