General Objective

By the end of this course, students will be able to analyze a historical document about the main events and ideas that shaped the American historical context of the 18th and early 19th centuries.

Specific objectives

  • Students will explain the main ideas and events that influenced the writing of the constitution.
  • Students will analyze George Washington’s farewell address.

  • Students will analyze the pamphlet of the Dying Jewess[1].

    A children’s story that is directly linked to the principles of the Second Great Awakening.
