This module provides a comprehensive introduction to human anatomy, focusing on the structural organization of the human body and its main systems. It aims to develop students’ understanding of the relationships between anatomical structures and their functional roles in physical activity, health, and sports performance.
The course begins with a general introduction to anatomy and basic anatomical terminology. It then covers the osteology, arthrology, and myology of the upper and lower limbs, enabling students to understand the musculoskeletal foundations of movement and posture.
Special attention is given to the anatomy of the trunk, including the vertebral column and the thoracic and abdominal regions. The module also explores the anatomical organization of major physiological systems, particularly the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, highlighting their structural components and spatial relationships.
In addition, an overview of the digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems is provided to offer students a global understanding of human anatomy and internal organ organization.
Through this module, students acquire essential anatomical knowledge required for further studies in physiology, biomechanics, sports training, and health sciences. The course contributes to the development of scientific reasoning, professional competence, and safe practice in sports and physical activity contexts.
