(carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water).

concisely deduce the vital functions of each type of nutrient.

sequentially and clearly identify the effects of nutrient deficiencies or
excesses.
The student will
explain the importance of dietary balance and diversity of food sources in
maintaining overall health .
