    • Chapter one The Structure of the Essay Fichier
      This chapter aims at introducing 2nd year students to the overall strcuture of the essay (introduction, main part, and conclusion). By the end of the semester, they supposedly will have learnt its basic components. Also, they will go over the thesis statement as the main topic the essay develops. By the end of the same semester, they normally will have had a good mastery of its composition (strong, effective thesis statement).
