The General objective:

Students will be able to analyze the role of the Norman’s conquest and rule in changing England and Europe.

Operational Objectives:

-         Recapitulate the role of the Witan and how Christianity was introduced.

-         To understand the relationship between Normandy and England.

-         To evaluate William the conqueror’s claim to the throne.

-         To evaluate the Norman legacy in England.

-         To understand the relationship between England, Normandy and France.
