Specific Objective:

The student will recognize the negative impacts of poor nutrition on athletic performance and overall health, and identify effective strategies to enhance dietary practices and prevent associated issues.

Procedural Objectives:

* The student will describe three primary effects of poor nutrition on athletic performance (e.g., reduced endurance, impaired recovery, increased injury risk).

* The student will analyze the causes of micronutrient deficiencies (e.g., iron, calcium) in athletes, providing two examples for each.

* The student will propose practical solutions to improve hydration and nutrition before, during, and after exercise, based on case studies discussed.

* The student will explain the role of nutritional education and meal planning in reducing injury risks and optimizing athletic performance.
