This module is designed for first year LMD students who need the basics of sentence grammar, style, punctuation and mechanics . It focuses on the writing skills and the structures of the sentence that every student needs to master for academic writing. The first section covers the building blocks of constructing a sentence (grammatical categories or parts of speech). Besides, the other sections will help students use and practice those building blocks of language—words, phrases, clauses, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. the last section is concerned with the final assessment.
