Appositive

An appositive is a noun or noun phrase that renames another noun right beside it. The appositive can be a short or long combination of words

Command

An imperative sentence gives a command. It usually ends with a period, but it may also end with an exclamation point (!).Commands ask or tell people to do something.

are words which come at the beginning of the noun phrase.

A gerund is a noun made from a verb by adding "-ing." The gerund form of the verb "read" is "reading." You can use a gerund as the subject, the complement, or the object of a sentence.

One word or phrase modifies another by making its meaning more specific.

Question tag

Question tags are short questions at the end of statements.

They are mainly used in speech when we want to:

confirm that something is true or not, or

to encourage a reply from the person we are speaking to

Statement

A declarative sentence (also known as a statement) makes a statement and ends with a period. It's named appropriately because it declares or states something.
