General objectives

It aims at helping students to master the basic technical side of writing. Students will be able to write and analyse simple sentences with their different patterns.

Specific objectives

• The student is introduced with the main parts of speech that can play a role as a part of a simple sentence

• The student is  introduced with the different parts of the sentence and the six patterns of a simple sentence

• The student is introduced to the phrase and its kinds. He learns how a phrase can function as a single grammatical function in a sentence.

  Operational objectives

  1. the student is introducd to the different kinds of nouns

  2. the student is introducd to the different kinds of pronouns

  3. the student is introducd to the different kinds of verbs

  4. the student is introducd to the adjectives and their function

  5. the student is introducd to the different kinds of adverbs and their function

  6. the student is introducd to the coordinating conjunctions and their use

  7. the student is introducd to the different kinds of subjects in simple sentences

  8. the student is introducd to the different kinds of predicates

  9. the sudent know the diffrent cases of subject verb inversion

  10. the student is introducd to the direct and indirect object

  11. the student is introducd to the subject and object complement

  12. the student is introducd to the different patterns of simple senteces in English

  13. the student is presented with the notion of phrase ,its types, and how it can function as a single part of sentence
