Grammar is a pivotal module of language teaching and learning. It involves the study of an assortment of rules that dictate how words are formed, classified and combined into phrases and sentences. This course is geared to first year students of English. The second semester is intended to familiarise students with the auxiliary verbs and their uses so that they structure and communicate their ideas effectively.
